For our English speaking friends...
Who are we? The 'Hergé Genootschap' is an association of fans of the oeuvre of Hergé. It is THE association of tintinophiles in The Netherlands and Flanders. It is our goal to study the works of Hergé, to publish about Hergé and to promote his art. We publish a magazine, a newsletter and - from time to time - a thematic booklet; we organize yearly a Hergé Day and participate in various activities related to Hergé and his creations. Founded in 1998, the Hergé Genootschap has become an appreciated player in the comics scenes in The Netherlands and Belgium. At the moment, we have some 650 members. The Hergé Genootschap is an independent association and has good relations with both the Hergé Foundation and Moulinsart, which manage the artistic heritage of Hergé. So, we have access to a large source of data that we like to share with our members. |
